 Step 1:

  • Call US! We will be more than happy to have a conversation to understand what you are hoping to achieve with your Water Well project!

  • Get a FREE written Estimate. When we have a full understanding of what YOUR water needs are then we can begin designing a system that best suits those needs along with recommended services and products for success based on past experience. It is important you understand your estimate and what products or services you are investing in.

  • The estimate for your new well will be broken down into two segments; the Drilled Water Well and the Installed Pressure system.

  • This will include everything from the drilling of the well, to getting the water from the new well into your home (or wherever it needs it to go – garages, shops, gardens, secondary homes, etc). There are many different pressure system options, and they will be discussed when we review the estimate to ensure everything is clearly understood and you fully understand what options you have.

  • We can meet almost any time whether it’s days, evenings or weekends at your convenience to review and discuss your estimate and answer any remaining questions you may have.

Our goal is to stay within our estimated price, and we take pride in maintaining that trust with our customers! We strive to give you a very clear understanding of what your project will cost, and what to expect when its finished.

Step 2:

  • Start the Drilling Process! Once the estimate is accepted we will meet on-site and pick the spot where you want the well drilled. Note: There can be a few challenges when picking a site, and some government regulations to follow.

  • Once the site is picked we will plan a date for the drilling rig to start drilling! Important – plan your entire yard before installing any services. Making a complete plan of where you want your services and how they are installed can save a lot of headaches and unexpected costs down the road.

  • We often partner with CB Max Excavating out of Stony Plain (780-903-6032) as they are experts in sewer installations and site preparation. We can make arrangements to meet with you on-site together with them and plan all your service installations. Between both companies - we have decades of experience setting up acreages and farms and will work with you to make a plan!

  • Once the drilling rig arrives on site we will start the Drilling process. This involves setting up the drill rig, setting up support equipment, and preparing all the materials for installation. Drilling of the well can be interesting to watch, and we will gladly answer any questions you may have while we are drilling. All we ask - for your safety - to stay clear of operating equipment. If you can’t be on-site - that is no problem at all. We will have everything we need with us and will send you updates throughout the process.

  • Once the well is drilled and developed to clean water, it will be shock chlorinated and capped with a steel surface protector and vermin-proof well cap.

Step 3:

Installing the Pressure system and pump. Once your well is drilled we will install your pump, pitless adaptor, waterline/wire to the house, and pressure tank/system inside. This can be completed in a few separate trips to the property as construction stages get completed. Tip – one way to save on cost is to have your septic installer work with us to install your pitless adaptor and hose/wire into your house. This can save a separate trip for an excavation company and will save you money.

If you have an old Well on your property it is important it gets properly abandoned. We follow Alberta government recommendations for this procedure, and believe it is an important measure in protecting our groundwater for future generations!

Step 4:

Ready to use! We will work with you on taking a water sample and deciding if any water treatment will be needed.

Step 5:

Follow up! Once you are moved in and we will make an appointment to go over your system and answer any questions you may have. We can recommend maintenance for you well, and how to keep it in perfect shape to last generations!
