Dewatering Wells
Dewatering wells are generally used to remove surface water and shallow groundwater from a construction site. This usually consists of several wells in close proximity that are pumped at maximum flow to lower the surface water table and help with flooding while excavating. Once the earth work is completed, the wells and pumping equipment are easily removed and properly abandoned.
